May 1, 2019 – Apply now to be a volunteer Harvest Leader for Sierra Harvest Gold Country Gleaning Program!

Seeking 5-6 volunteer Harvest Leaders who love harvesting fruit and can who commit to leading a crew of volunteers up to twice a month June-Oct. picking fruit that would otherwise go to waste from Nevada County farms and home orchards and bringing it to Interfaith Food Ministry (IFM) to be distributed to those in need.

Volunteers picked and donated more than 10,000 pounds in the 2018 season to IFM and our goal is to double that in 2019! Training included. More details about this volunteer position here.

Benefit: Feel all good and fuzzy inside knowing you are helping to bring fresh food to 8,000 Nevada County residents with 25% of them children!
